As part of the Japanese Film Screening Tour 2026, organized by the Embassy of Japan in Switzerland (JICC) in collaboration with the Japan Foundation and the University of Zurich, the film *YUDO* will be screened at the University of Zurich.
After his father’s death, architect Shiro Miura returns home intending to replace the family’s traditional public bathhouse with a modern apartment building. His younger brother Goro, who has continued running the bathhouse, strongly opposes the plan. When Shiro unexpectedly takes charge of the bathhouse, his encounters with its regular customers gradually reveal the warmth and joy of Japan’s bathing culture.
Released in 2023, *YUDO* explores the traditions of Japanese public bathhouses and the connections they create among people.

This straw hat is inspired by Luffy, the main character of ONE PIECE. ONE PIECE is a Japanese manga series created by Eiichiro Oda. It follows Luffy, who wears a straw hat, and his friends as they set out on adventures across the seas. The manga began in 1997 and has since been adapted into anime and films, becoming widely loved around the world. More than 500 million copies have been published worldwide.
The hat also reflects our hope that younger generations will feel welcome to use Mutsumi Network.
And there is another thought behind it. Perhaps each of us, too, is like Luffy in some way, sailing across the vast ocean of our own life. That is another idea we have woven into this straw hat.
